Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Covers pastorprep.com, the PastorPrep app at app.pastorprep.com, and Publisher file recovery

These terms are the agreement between you and [legal name of the business] ("PastorPrep", "we"). They're written to be read. By creating an account, buying a Publisher recovery or otherwise using PastorPrep, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it, and show it back to you and the people you choose to share it with, only so we can run PastorPrep for you. That includes passing it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, such as our AI provider. We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't claim ownership of it.

Only upload what you have the right to use. Song lyrics, liturgy and images in a bulletin may need a license, such as a CCLI license, to print or project. That's between your church and the rights holder.

AI drafts

PastorPrep's drafts are a starting point written with AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or not right for your congregation. We check Scripture references against your translation and tell you when we can't, but no check is perfect. You decide what you preach and print, and you're responsible for it.

Trials, plans and billing

Publisher file recovery

Recovery turns a Microsoft Publisher (.pub) file into a PDF. You don't need an account.

The $5 church credit. After buying, you can choose to continue into PastorPrep and claim a $5 credit toward your first monthly subscription. It's one credit per account, for an account that has never had a PastorPrep subscription. It doesn't apply to yearly plans, has no cash value and can't be transferred. If the recovery is refunded, an unused credit is cancelled.

Fair use

Don't use PastorPrep to break the law, upload anything you don't have the right to share, harass anyone, try to get into other people's accounts or churches, overload or probe our systems, or resell PastorPrep or build a competing service with it. Automated access needs our written permission.

Changes to PastorPrep

PastorPrep is young and still changing, and we may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, or shut PastorPrep down, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead so you can export your work, and refund any paid time you won't get to use.

Ending your account

You can stop using PastorPrep at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Unless it's urgent, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your work.

Disclaimers

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
